Wilfried Hauke - German film director, documentarian, producer. For many years he collaborated with the largest television companies in Germany as an editor for programs on culture, art, and literature. He directed and produced television programs and films about famous German writers, scientists and historical figures. Wilfried Hauke produced several major international documentary series about European monarchs of the Middle Ages and Modern times. His extensive filmography includes biopics about the artists Emil Nolde, Paula Modersohn-Becker, Edvard Munch, Klaus Füssmann and Max Pechstein, as well as about Hans Christian Andersen, Søren Kierkegaard, Günther Grass and Henning Mankell. A documentary film with elements of historical reconstruction "Kant – Das Experiment der Freiheit" is the latest work of the master.
