The film was created by the Diana Vishneva Foundation for the Promotion of Ballet Art, in 2022.
The homage film tells about the teacher Lyudmila Kovalyova, professor at the Vaganova Ballet Acasemy. In 1959-1981 Kovalyova was a soloist with the ballet of the Kirov (Mariinsky) Theatre. Afterwards she began teaching classical dance at the Academy, where she works nowadays.
For more than 30 years, she has been training ballerinas who become prima dancers and soloists of leading theaters in Russia and abroad. She is called a unique teacher who has a special gift for discerning talent and helping to reveal it.
