King Lear

Король Лир
An elderly man named Alexey, whose granddaughters cannot look after him, is placed in a boarding house. At this time, a young director, Dmitry Munkuev, is staging a play for the day of the elderly. To do this, he holds a casting among the residents, but cannot decide on an actor for the role of King Lear. In the evening, he meets Alexey and offers him this role. Alexey reluctantly agrees, and rehearsals begin in the boarding house. During the rehearsals, they become closer, and the fates of Lear and old Alexey become intertwined.
