A Lithuanian soprano, born in Vilnius. She graduated from the Lithuanian Academy of Music and the University of Music and Theatre Leipzig. She made her debut at the Leipzig Opera and spent several years as a soloist at the Cologne Opera. She has performed at renowned theaters including the Berlin State Opera, Zurich Opera, Komische Oper Berlin, Bavarian State Opera, Lyon Opera, Finnish National Opera, Flemish Opera (Antwerp), Seattle Opera, Municipal Theater of São Paulo, La Fenice (Venice), and at festivals in Savonlinna and Aix-en-Provence.
Her repertoire includes leading roles in operas such as "Tosca," "Salome," and "Gioconda," as well as Marguerite in "Mephistopheles," Judith in "The Duke Bluebeard's Castle," Katerina in "Lady Macbeth of the Mtsensk District," Chrysothemis in "Elektra," Cio-Cio San in "Madama Butterfly," Bianca in "The Florentine Tragedy" by A. von Zemlinsky, Renata in "The Fiery Angel" by S. Prokofiev, Eliana in "Die Tote Stadt" by E. W. Korngold, and more.
