Art critic, one of the founders of the museum “One and a Half Rooms of Joseph Brodsky”
Art critic, specialist in wooden architecture of the Russian north, member of the Council for the Preservation of Cultural Heritage under the Government of St. Petersburg, one of the founders of the museum “One and a Half Rooms of Joseph Brodsky”.
He was friends not only with Brodsky, but also with his parents. On the day of his departure for forced emigration, he photographed the furnishings of Brodsky’s room, which later served as the basis for the creation of the museum’s exhibition.
He founded the poet's museum in the village of Norenskaya, Arkhangelsk Region, in a place of his exile. He took an active part in the creation of Brodsky’s unofficial four-volume work.
