Sergey Miroshnichenko
Director
Was born in Chelyabinsk in 1955. In 1983, he graduated from the All-Russian State Institute of Cinematography (documentary faculty, A.S.Kochetkov’s workshop). He worked at Sverdlovsk film studio, and at Nikita Mikhalkov’s studio «TRITE” until founding his own studio «Ostrov” in 1999. He is still art director of «Ostrov” studio. Since 1998, he is a professor at the All-Russian State Institute of Cinematography. Winner of multiple Russian and international awards.
