Graduated from the film school "Kadr" at Lenfilm (the faculty of feature film directing under the guidance of I.I. Krasko, workshop of A.D. Alexandrov). Worked at Lenfilm as a photographer-artist and assistant director. Graduated from the feature film directing workshop of Igor Maslennikov at the St. Petersburg State University of Cinema and Television.
